We use a green energy economic method to manage our natural farming orchard. There are red-heart guavas, Liji guavas, mulberries, and Roselle in our orchard. We welcome everyone to make a reservation to experience the fun of fruit-picking. We also provide visitors a package tour with a two-night stay and one meal included, in which we visit Taitung’s secret scenic spots, allowing visitors to truly experience the fun of Taitung’s “good mountains, good water, and good fun”.
Ms. Yumei, the owner of the orchard, has established the Liji Restaurant, and makes use of guavas planted in the Liji Badlands area to create banquet dishes with the fruits. Her cooking has been well received and highly recommended by her customers. Ms. Yumei was invited to make dishes on site for a TV show on the Taiwan Indigenous Television (TITV) channel, and was also invited to make guava dishes on site at Ina’s Kitchen, a TV show hosted by TITV.
In 2014, Liji Restaurant was invited to take part in the indigenous cooking competition at the Festival of Austronesian Cultures hosted by the Taitung County Government, and received the Best Indigenous Taste Award and the Popularity Award. Furthermore, in 2014 and 2015, Ms. Yumei was invited by the organizer of the Taitung Luye International Balloon Festival to cook special cuisines for the hot air balloon pilots from Taiwan and other countries, as well as to make specialty local cuisines of 300 servings.
